Professional Experience

Mike Emerson has successfully defended manufacturers worldwide in products cases involving heavy trucks, motor vehicles, industrial equipment, fire-control equipment, boats, watercraft, and petrochemicals. He also deals in construction litigation involving catastrophic personal injuries and construction defects. Regarding premises liability experience, he has represented numerous national grocery chains, retail companies, and malls in claims involving negligent security and premises maintenance. He also is heavily involved in all manners of commercial litigation. His practice area has expanded to include firearms liability for alleged “straw purchases.” Mike is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, Products Liability Practice Group, Appellate Advocacy Practice Group, and Trucking and Motor Carrier Practice Group.
