Ms. Gaines joined the firm in 1986, and  practices in the areas of toxic tort defense, workers' compensation defense, general civil litigation, and employment law matters.  Her clients include Sepco Corporation, Honeywell International Inc., Baptist Health and local and national corporations and insurance companies.

Ms. Gaines received her J.D. from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law in 1986 where she was a published member of the Law Journal.  She graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a B.S. with honors in political science in 1980.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Gaines served as a legislative research analyst and staff committee advisor for the Arkansas Legislative Council and was a clerk for the United State Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Arkansas.

Ms. Gaines is a member of the Pulaski County, Arkansas, and American Bar Associations, as well as the Arkansas Association of Defense Counsel and Defense Research Institute.  She is admitted to practice before the Arkansas Supreme Court, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Ms. Gaines was selected for inclusion on the 2010 Mid-South Super Lawyers list.
