What the insurance adjuster needs to know in Arkansas

The Barber Law Firm offers an accredited continuing education seminar for claims handlers. The seminar courses are approved by the Arkansas Department of Insurance for three hours total credit, with one hour focused on ethics. 

The courses in the seminar include the following topics: Discovery of Insurance Company’s Claims File; Insurer’s Duty to Defend as Opposed to Duty to Indemnify; Coverage Issues Specific to Construction Defect Litigation; Who is the Proper Defendant: Insured or Insurer; and Unfair Claims Settlement Practices.
