An Employer’s Guide to Crisis Management

As part of our centennial celebration, the firm’s employment law practice group presented a free continuing legal education seminar for HR directors, business owners, managers, and attorneys.

The aftermath created by a disgruntled employee can damage a company’s reputation and bottom line. This fact-filled seminar addressed common pitfalls, remedies, and resources regarding employment law. Topics included Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, Family Medical Leave Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Equal Pay Act, Title VII, 1981, Workers’ Compensation, Department of Labor and Equal Opportunity Commission processes and other helpful resources.
