Professional Experience

An experienced, effective, and trusted counselor and litigator, Gail Ponder Gaines joined the Barber Law Firm in 1986. Her primary practice focus is defense of asbestos and other toxic torts claims, as well as products liability, commercial litigation, and workers' compensation claims. Her clients include numerous international corporations along with local and regional companies and insurance carriers. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a legislative research analyst and staff committee advisor for the Arkansas Legislative Council and as a law clerk with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Arkansas. She is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, Products Liability Practice Group, and Class Action / MDL Practice Group.
